Sá maður er talinn sannskyggn, er sér að hinn æðsti guð er einn og samur í öllum verum, og að hann deyr ekki, þótt þær láti lífið.

One should experience the bliss of the higher Self within and the brotherhood of humanity by rising above religion, nationality, race, culture, and society

 

Self knowledge is the only way to find happiness. As one goes in the direction of the Self, one attains personal experience and does not need to rely on the promises of others.

    Self knowledge is accessible to all. It is simple and easy. Self is closest to us. It is our very existence. It is our birthright.

    Self knowledge is the essence of all scriptures and spiritual masters of the world. Greedy spititual leaders and deluded fanatical religious and spiritual cults have made it inaccessible, difficult, and prohibiting to the masses. They have distored the teachings of the great masters and have created religions and split the religions into sub-branches for their gain and Ego. They have introduced fear of hell and sins and temptation of rewards of prosperity and heavens, to attract innocent people. Masses of people are caught in rituals and austerities and run to temples, mosques, churches, and synagogues forgetting the real goal in life.

     One should experience the bliss of the higher Self within and the brotherhood of humanity by rising above religion, nationality, race, culture, and society.

     Meditation techniques are simplified and anyone can practice them, regardless of age, sex, profession, education, race, beliefs, social status, or health conditions. Everyone who breathes and thinks can practise them.

    All one needs is to wake up, accept one´s own self as one is, let go of illusions, and start now.

This Sanskrit word means "descent"; its roots are ava, "down," and tri, "to pass." In the Hindu scriptures, avatara signifies the descent of Divinity into flesh.

 

The Upanishads have minutely classified every stage of spiritual advancement. A siddha ("perfected being") has progressed from the state of a jivanmukta ("freed while living") to that of a paramukta ("supremely free"-full power over death); the latter has completely escaped from the mayic thralldom and its reincarnational round. The paramukta therefore seldom returns to a physical body; if he does, he is an avatar, a divinely appointed medium of supernal blessings on the world.

Sú reynsla sem felst í uppljómun er að sjálfsögðu mikilvæg, en það sem er mikilvægara er að geta aðlagað logann sem lýsir okkur í zazen og daglega lífinu. Þegar líf þitt logar eins og hreinn logi hefur þú ekki undan neinu að kvarta og engin ástæða til að fylgjast sérstaklega með iðkun þinni.

Þú heldur að sönn iðkun byggist á því að vera uppljómaður en þannig er því ekki varið. Sönn iðkun vex úr blekkingu, úr pirringi. Þú getur aðeins byggt iðkun þína á mistökum. Andartak mistakanna er upphaf iðkunarinnar. Þessvegna þurfum við að finna hina sönnu merkingu iðkunarinnar áður en við uppljómumst. Uppljómunin er þar sem þú ert. Ef þú stendur nákvæmlega þar sem þú ert, ertu uppljómaður.

Og hver sá maður, er iðkar sífelt yoga og lætur hugann ekki hvarfla frá hinum æðsta, hinum guðdómlega anda, hann hverfur til hans, Arjúna!

 

 

9. - 10.

Svo er hinn vitri, stjórnandinn, er verið hefir til síðan í árdögum. Hann er minni hverri frumögn. Hann er sá, er öllu viðheldur. Enginn getur gert sér í hugarlund, hvernig hann er. Hann ljómar líkt og sólin fyrir handan myrkrin. Beini menn huga til hans, þá hverfa þeir til hans, hins guðdómlega, svo framarlega sem þeir eru einhuga á andlátsstund sinni, hafa fölskvalausa elsku til að bera og hafa stöðvað lífsöndunina milli augnabrúna sinna.
