Spirituality is beyond intellectual development

 

I generally say, "If you are a Christian, read the Bible; if you are a Hindu, you may read the Bhagavad Gita; if you are a Muslim you should read Koran," and through the meditation and teaching of Kriya Yoga you will understand your own scripture better. You will realize that what your "son of God" or "prophet" or any "master" is teaching is common to all, there is no difference. We all are children of God and we should perceive Godճ love. There is no difference in anything. So, it is best to avoid insisting, "read only this!" Read any scripture that you love. But, try not to read too much. Read a little, and, through meditation, apply what you read in your daily life. Application is more essential than reading, because spirituality is beyond intellectual development. You must have both theory and practice in the application of scripture in your daily life. That will help you to lead a life of love, purity, and truth.
